Ried Rants

It has been forty something years and I still have so much bitching left. I wonder if we every really get away from who we are. Is it who we really are or our belief system messing with our heads.

There is so much talk about what power we really have over our lives. Does our life involve creation or premonition? There are so many folks saying “the secret” is the way to go. Or it is the “the law of attraction.” Who really knows?

I will tell you my thoughts on it…Nobody knows. All we see is everybody’s opinion. There are the ones that talk to God to the ones that hear the voices in their heads telling them to do things.

Can we ever really know? I often think of things that come to pass and I wonder to myself “did I make that happen?” or is it something that happened and I sensed its arrival?

My life has been full of upset and pondering sometimes to the exclusion of any thought of others. However, I have always been an observer and since I have the unique viewpoint of a cynic I believe I have a spin on life that may be different and sometimes amusing.

I have had so many different experiences that I have learned just are and that it is important to stay away from categorizing things as good or bad.

So I have decided to put my gripes, bitching and general disappointment with the world that surrounds me for all to see and hopefully get a little joy and enlightenment from a different point of view.
