When did it become okay for managers and supervisors to miss interviews or slack on their responsibility to do their job?  When is it okay for a temp agency to tell to a worker they that "we will check your references when we get a minute?”  By the way I was told that I would get no work until after my references where checked.

I understand that we are all human and everyone makes mistakes. But if you are overwhelmed and under staffed…Get Help! or Do a better job and if that means taking on less to do, so be it.

Never assume that the manager that scheduled you for that second interview told the other hiring manager that they have an appointment.  If  not you may be sitting for over an hour like me waiting on someone who never shows up. How embarrassing do you think it is company to finally give up and walk out of a waiting room for a second interview?
